Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales team and partners to provide consultancy on Arahe's APICTA 2008 award wining web acceleration products and services.

  • Responsible for ensuring that the sales team has the necessary technical support to effectively promote and sell our flagship web acceleration products and services.

  • Preparation of technical sales materials including collateral, technical response to customer RFPs and solution proposals.

  • Perform customer presentations, proof of concept, deployment and training on our web acceleration products.

  • Interacting with partners and customers to identify their needs and sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.

  • Required skill(s):

    • Knowledge of WWW, HTTP, and TCP/IP networking, in terms of technology, topology and deployment.

    • Knowledge of Linux / Windows operating systems

    • Knowledge on deployment on networking components / appliances such as firewall, router / switches, Load Balancer, proxy.

  • Optional skill(s):

    • Knowledge of PHP, J2EE, JSP & Servlets, XML & Java Programming Experience, .Net

    • Knowledge of Unix / Solaris operating systems.

  • At least 2-5 year(s) of pre-sales experience in the related field is required for this position.

Development Engineer (Web Acceleration)

Responsibilities:

  • Developing new software and maintaining existing software which is written in Java and C.

  • Writing installation scripts and utility scripts.

  • Installing and configuring software on servers or virtual machines.

  • Troubleshooting customer installations.

  • Developing and performing benchmarking tests.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.

  • Experience in programming any of Java , C++, C.

  • Experience in Unix / Linux shell scripting.

  • Experience in Linux software installation/maintenance tasks an advantage .

  • Willing to follow best software practices in writing and documenting software

  • Knowledge of networking, network tools, HTTP protocol an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Software Quality Assurance Testing including Black Box testing, Integration testing, Performance testing, UI testing.

  • Develop test plans, test scripts and execute tests.

  • Proactively identify test issues and potential process improvement areas, suggest options and recommend approaches.

  • Take part in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessions.

  • Track and manage software defects to resolution.

  • Generate status reports and update test plan.
